Sandeep Saboo

Sandeep Saboo is a Managing Director and Vice President for AB CarVal, where he is responsible for managing opportunistic investments in corporate securities in Asia, focusing on distressed assets, high-yield assets and structured products. Saboo also manages asset-based investments in aviation leasing. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2019, he was a director at Standard Chartered on the special situations team in Singapore. Prior to Standard Chartered, Saboo held positions with CX Partners’s Indian high-yield credit fund, JPMorgan Chase’s special situations group in Hong Kong and India, and Ernst & Young’s Indian transaction advisory practice. He holds a BCom (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce at the University of Delhi. Saboo is a Chartered Accountant (CA).
